Questions
Does everyone need the app?
No. The person organising uses the app. Everyone else can add their memories in their web browser from the invite link, or use the app if they'd like. Nobody needs an account or a password.
What can people share?
A short video message, a voice note, photos with a caption and the year, a story in their own words, and one line for the book. Any mix, in any order.
How is the film made?
We look at everything that's been shared, choose the moments that tell the story best, put them in an order that flows, and set them to music. Quotes are always the contributor's own words. We never invent anything.
What does it cost?
Making and previewing the film and book is free. Unlocking the full-quality film and the book for an event is A$14.99, once. Contributors never pay. Printed books are optional and priced at checkout, with postage.
Can I change the film?
Yes. Reorder or remove any moment, change the title and music, or ask for a new version as more memories arrive. As many times as you like.
Who can see the memories?
Only the organiser sees everything. Each contributor sees what they shared. The finished film and book are shared by the organiser, as they choose.
